Meet at airport, transfer to hotel. Relax at Negombo beach or do a short Colombo city tour depending on arrival time.

Travel to the sacred city of Anuradhapura (UNESCO). Visit Ruwanweliseya stupa, Sri Maha Bodhi (oldest documented tree in the world), and Thuparamaya.

Morning visit to Mihintale (birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka). Later travel to Sigiriya. Evening climb Pidurangala Rock for sunset views of Sigiriya.

Early climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion Rock). Afternoon visit the medieval capital Polonnaruwa (UNESCO) with its impressive stone Buddha statues and ruins.

Visit Dambulla Cave Temples (murals & Buddha statues). Drive via Matale Spice Garden. Evening cultural show and visit to Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.

Morning stroll around Kandy Lake & Royal Botanical Gardens (Peradeniya). Stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way back to Colombo.

Colombo city tour & shopping (time permitting). Transfer to airport for departure.
